Serves 4-6
What You'll Need
- 1 packet Workhorse Red Chili Seasoning
- 1 lb. ground meat (beef/bison/venison)
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup broth
- 1 can (14.5 oz) crushed tomatoes
- Optional: 1 can (15 oz) kidney or pinto beans
Instructions
- Heat oil in skillet over medium heat
- Add meat; cook until browned
- Drain grease
- Add onion; cook 2-3 minutes
- Stir in seasoning; cook 30 seconds
- Add broth, tomatoes, and optional beans
- Cover and simmer 30-60 minutes
Make It Your Own
Serve over corn chips, on hot dogs, or add to mac and cheese. Add jalapeños for heat.
Loaded Chili Cheese Dip
Serves 6-8
What You'll Need
- 1 packet Workhorse Red Chili Seasoning
- 1 lb. ground beef or sausage
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1 tsp oil (olive or avocado)
- 2 Tbsp water
- 1 can (10 oz) petite diced tomatoes with chiles
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- Tortilla chips or corn chips for serving
- Optional: Green onions for topping
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat
- Add meat; cook until browned
- Drain excess grease
- Add onion and jalapeño; cook 2-3 minutes
- Stir in seasoning and water; cook for 30 seconds
- Remove skillet from heat and add tomatoes, cream cheese, and shredded cheese
- Stir gently until cheeses are melted and dip is smooth
- Serve warm with tortilla chips or corn chips

Grilled Cowboy Burgers
Serves 6-8
What You'll Need
- 1 packet Workhorse Red Chili Seasoning
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 2 Tbsp water
- Hamburger buns
- Recommended toppings: Cheddar cheese; your favorite BBQ sauce; pickle relish; and grilled or fried onions
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, seasoning, and water
- Mix until seasoning is evenly incorporated
- Form into 6-8 burger patties
- Grill over medium-high heat until cooked to desired doneness
- Toast buns if desired
- Top with cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce, pickle relish, and grilled or fried onions
